The Naked Digital Submission
Stop sending heavily edited studio portraits. Submit four plain digitals taken against a white wall in natural daylight with zero daylight filters or makeup. Agents sign jawlines and bone structure, not your photographer's editing preset.
Name your image files 'Firstname_Lastname_Height_Location.jpg' so they do not get lost on a scout's desktop.
The Three-Sentence Pitch
Your email body should contain three things: your exact measurements, your current location/availability, and a link to an unlisted folder of your digitals. If an agent has to scroll on a phone screen to read your text, you have already lost.
Never attach heavy images directly to the email; use a clean Dropbox or Google Drive link set to public view.
The Open Call Blitz
Treat an open call like a security clearance, not a social hour. Arrive fifteen minutes before doors open, carry physical prints of your digitals, and know your stats cold without checking your phone.
Do not chat casually with the front desk assistant unless spoken to; they report difficult personalities directly to the board.
The Follow-Up Window
Agencies review hundreds of submissions a week. Send one single follow-up email exactly ten business days after your initial submission updating them only if you have a major stat or location change.
If a board rejects or ignores you twice, move on to a different agency tier or market before trying them again in six months.
