Terms of Use

The rules for using dantet9.com, booking a session, applying as a model, and working with us on a TFP collaboration. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using dantet9.com (the "Website") or our services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

2. Services

Dante's Models ("we", "us") provides professional photography services and model management in New York City. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Booking & Payments

  • All bookings require a deposit to confirm your session date.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the session.
  • Full payment is due on or before the session date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept PayPal and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking.

4. Image Usage & Copyright

  • All photographs taken by Dante's Models remain the intellectual property of Dante's Models.
  • Clients receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use delivered images for personal and portfolio use.
  • Commercial use, and selling or licensing the images to anyone else, needs our written permission and is negotiated separately.
  • Credit to Dante's Models / @dantet9 is appreciated but not required for personal use.

5. TFP Collaborations

A TFP (trade for print) collaboration is unpaid on both sides: the model gives their time and we give edited photos.

  • Before any TFP shoot, the model signs our Photo Consent & Release, which sets out exactly how the photos from that shoot may be used.
  • If these Terms and a signed Photo Consent & Release ever differ, the signed document controls for the photos from that shoot.

6. Model Applications & Our Roster

  • Applying through our "Become a Model" page is free. We never charge models a fee to apply, to join our roster, or to be put forward for work.
  • Applying does not guarantee acceptance, bookings or representation, and it does not create an agency, management or employment agreement.
  • Models on our roster can ask us at any time to remove their talent profile from the Website. Photos from a TFP collaboration are covered by the Photo Consent & Release the model signed.
  • Applicants under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to apply. For any shoot, a parent or guardian must sign and attend.

7. Content You Send Us

  • By submitting photos, applications or other content through our forms, you confirm you have the right to share it.
  • We will never sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

8. Digital Products

  • Digital products (guides, presets, etc.) are non-refundable after delivery or download.
  • Digital products are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.

9. Website Use

  • You may not use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website.
  • We may modify or discontinue any part of the Website without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Dante's Models is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website or our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms. An update never changes a document you have already signed, such as a Photo Consent & Release.
