How much does a maternity photoshoot cost in NYC?
Maternity sessions start at $650 for the Glow Session: 90 minutes at golden hour and 35 professionally retouched images. Most people pick the $1,200 Signature Session. It runs up to 3 hours at two locations, includes partner and family, and gives you 70+ retouched images plus a sneak peek the same week. The $2,000 Bump to Baby collection adds a newborn session after the baby arrives. Full details are in the packages below.
When should I take my maternity photos?
Between 28 and 34 weeks. The bump is round and you can still move comfortably between poses and locations. With twins, or if you are measuring ahead, aim for 24 to 30 weeks. Book during your second trimester to get the date you want.
Can my partner and kids be in the photos?
Yes, bring them. Partners and children are included in every package at no extra charge. Some of our favorite pictures are the whole family wrapped around the bump.
What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
Fitted or flowing dresses that show your shape work well: soft neutrals, earth tones, or a statement gown for golden hour. Bring 2 outfits and we will plan the rest with you before the session. If you want a designer dress without buying one, we keep a list of maternity dress rentals.
Do you shoot maternity sessions in a studio or outdoors?
Both. Golden hour in a NYC park is our signature look. Studio sessions run all year, for a clean, simple style or when the weather does not cooperate. If it rains on your outdoor date, we reschedule at no charge.
When will I receive my maternity photos?
A sneak peek of edited images comes within a few days so you can share the news. The full edited gallery is delivered within 2 weeks.
Do you also photograph newborns?
Yes. Many maternity clients come back for a relaxed newborn session at home in the first weeks, and again for cake-smash photos at the first birthday. Ask about a newborn session when you book your maternity shoot and we will give you priority scheduling around your due date.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our team works in English and Spanish, so you and your family can talk to us comfortably before, during and after the shoot.
